Holiday essentials and travel tips

Hey y'all, here's a few travelling tips I've picked up over the past month!

Even if you don't think you'll need them, you will. Take all chargers for your kindle, iPod, phone, iPad, whatever you're taking.

Take a small notepad for sudden inspiration.

Obviously the SPF, and don't forget the SPF lip balm!

As well as the skimpy hot pants and crop tops, take lighter but more covering clothes, like harem or linen trousers and shirts, in case of that awkward burnt bum moment...

Double check all luggage restrictions and weigh your case before you leave to avoid any surprises.

Pack all of your heaviest things into a wheels hand luggage case, including your heels and as many clothes as you can.

Leave your check luggage as empty as possible to avoid charges and upset in case of lost luggage, also to allow you more souvenir room.

Most airlines allow you two cabin bags, put the wheely case in overhead as soon as you get on the plane, keep anything you will want or need in a smaller bag or beach bag under the seat in front.

Read up on your country, In Some parts of Europe and Spain you have to give €10 tax as soon as you check in.

Print all emails and documents for the whole holiday as well as both boarding passes, keep in a plastic wallet to prevent water damage.

Make sure your accommodation details include your name, hotel name, dates, and room details. Highlight these things if it helps.

Wear your trainers or big shoes on the plane to save space.

Pack a beach towel - most hotels don't let you use theirs. If you get cold on planes put this in your hand luggage as a blanket (beach bag not your wheely case)

Apart from your currency and passport, the most important thing to remember is a language conversion dictionary. Unfortunately we forgot ours, and it was missed.

Hope these are useful, leave any other tips in the comments along with links to your blogs.

Enjoy your holiday (and don't forget a cool passport cover)!

Ciao, Lauren
